Default Stern St-8

Just thought I'd share my newish rims. Stern ST-8's gloss black, 18 X 8.5" all the way around. Still in the box they were shipped in, they weighed about 20 lbs a piece. I have 255/40/18 BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW's on them.

Those wheels are a nice light weight. However... the center hub section of those wheels totally kills the looks.

You think? I like the contrast, otherwise I think it's too much black.

Why? Everyone loves RPM 505's and HP Evo's, what's the difference, other than the centers?

Answered your own question. It's what kills those wheels.

Seriously, dooood... that center hub section makes the overall beautiful design of the wheel look fugly. The narrow width and the 40 series tires doesn't help any either.

That's all that really matters.

All that matters is what the owner thinks. Those 40 series tires may save him some grief if he hits a pothole. I don't really care for the silver centers either but, hey, not everyone thinks my wife is pretty either!!! know what I mean?
