Default Debating a switch from 17x9 TT2s to a 15" Drag Setup

Hey guys i have a polo green 94 Trans Am WS6 clone that currently has 17x9 Polished TT2s and have pondering the idea of switching it up as ive had the TT2s for a couple years now and everybody is running them whenever i go to cruise nights. The car is not a DD and is a weekend cruiser and straightline i do not roadcourse or any of that. I have had my eyes on the BS Street Lite 15x4x2.25bs and 15x10x7.5bs. I know when going to a 4" skinny you cannot turn at high speeds and it will just plow. My question is the handling and braking that bad when going to a skinny up front? Also when adding skinnys to the front with stock front suspension will the front end look like 4x4 and most usually cut springs or get a set lower fronts? I love my TT2s and dont want to get rid of them if i hate the drag look and kick myself later if you know what i mean.

I've had skinnies on a street car before and I'm not a big fan of it. I personally wouldn't put anything on the front more narrow than about 6". It just feels unstable and braking performance suffers significantly when compared to a larger wider wheel. If I were you, I'd look into the 17" streetlite with a 17x7 front and 17x11 rear - best of both worlds.

I've been dd with skinnies 15x3.5 on the front for over a year now with no problem. Just don't drive like an idiot and you'll be fine

as long as you take it easy on turns, and on your brakes you will be fine, just have to be extra careful,I like the look of the drag setup a lot better but you will miss a street set up after awhile, any other questions just let me know,
