Default how to get a 19 by 12 wheel to fit a 4th gen camaro ....

i know i posted a similiar thread last week but i want to run oem c6 z06 wheels on my ss so i can do the cts-v brake mod up front. wandering what i have to do to get the rear z06 wheels to fit with the 325-30-r19 tires.....would the bfh mod and cutting out the bumpstops do the trick? thanks.

I have C6 ZO6 wheels on my T/A. I had to cut the bump stops and their mounts off, cut a little corner of square-stock from the front of the wheel well, cut a section of the outside edge of the lower control arm (the fold-over) and BFH the hell outta the front of the wheel well. Also, the ridges along the inside face of the wheel well that spread out from the bumpstop need to be cut down their length and hammered flat.

If you want to save some cutting and stick to a lot of BFHing, use spacers to kick the offset out to around 36mms or so

Don't forget to take ride height into account.

someone on here by the name of strokerB had them on his LT. He said it took alot of BFH and no cutting or grinding of any sort but since those wheels have corvette offset, they stick out a little bit.

There is a member on here that has a black SS I believe on gunmetal spyders. He got them from 6LE. Man that car is beast! I have a pic. here you go.

Hope he will chime in.

That tire looks like it sticks out so far from the fender. You'd have to have an extremely stiff suspension setup to keep from making tire to fender contact.

The OEM 19x12 Z06 offset is 59mm. With no spacer, it sits flush with the top of the wheel opening. Ive seen a couple cars that had alot of BFH and cutting with the OEM wheels, but I havent seen a car with OEM wheels and spacer like was mentioned earlier.

A customer and friend did it with our 19x12 Grey Spyders. You need a spacer and longer stronger wheel studs (ARP, etc...) but it looks GREAT and now he hooks

What size of tire was he able to shoehorn in the fender wells?
