Gunmetal C6 Replica wheels?
Picked up these wheels awhile back for pretty much nothing (literally)
The wheels are in good shape but are oxidized a little under the clearcoat (Im assuming it has a clearcoat) on the metal parts of the spokes. Has anyone ever done this? Maybe factory issued painted? Swear I saw a set on a 4th gen painted but cant find a pic to save my life now.
Ive thought about stripping the black off and polishing the entire wheel but seems like ALOT of work. Was thinking of sanding the machine faced spokes and painting the entire wheel a gunmetal or silver color.
The only thing is the "rivets" on the wheels. Now do those come off or they just glued on. Any thoughts on how to paint the wheels and not paint the "rivets"
These will either go on my 91 or 94...Which ever one gets these, the other will get the SS 10 spokes.

Most likely the rivets are glued one. If the black paint inside the spokes is in good shape I was just sand the clear off the face of the spokes and polish them up.
