Default 3rd gen width

Its time for some shoes for my 3rd gen t/a. Anybody know how wide i can go for the back? Its Lowerd 1inch in the back. or does any body have a suggestion on rims?

people have put 17x11's with 315/35's, but they r real wide, almost stick out of the fenders...

A buddy bought my 17x9.5 wheels I had and put them on his 3rd Gen. They fit about as good as they can without sticking out past the fender.

I run 17x9 wheels w/ 275/40-17's. They clear fine with approx 5.5"BS & lowered 1.5"

285's also clear, but any larger you need to get the offset perfect.

Planning on 315's but even w/ max backspace they may be an issue with the fender lip... unless you run a baby 315, like a Sumitomo, which is a glorified 285.
