Your car pretty much came with 26" tires.

275-40-17 = 25.7"
285-40-17 = 26"

Depends how lowered it is. Mine has QA1's and v6 rear springs. I initially didnt roll the fenders and it sliced up the tires to I ended up having to. Tires are 28 in...275/60/15 Mickey's.

Heres how it looks.

Here is a picture of my buddys STOCK ride height car with 275/60/15's (28's) And you can see it 4x4 like a ****.

And finally another buddy of mine with 275/50/15's..(26's) And his car is slammed, Had to BFE and roll the fenders.

i think ill just stick with the 26in tire or 275/50r15 mickeys. i dont have the resources to get the tools and what not plus it will be cheaper for me anyways.

I did nothing at all to make them fit. I was lowered on strano springs and stock shocks. Only thing i'd recommend but not needed is to roll your fenders. I launched really hard on my 28s and my drivers side tire got a small slice in the tire. If I had my konis on back then, it most likely would not have gotten cut. Stock shocks suck.

As far as the wheels fitting, I'm sure you know. Grind them calipers.
