Default Best wheels for four gen camaros, I need help

I have a black 1994 z28, and I need new wheels. I really like mesh wheels, but a member mentioned to me that they don't look good on camaros, and they looks better on firebirds. Now I agree. So now I need to some new wheel ideas. Nothing too expensive (like fikse's) and I only like deep dish wheels, so what can you think of? Show me your camaros please.

There a thread about wheels. As far as Deep Dish but not Fikse price tag, your basically looking at OE Wheels LLC or Aftermarket BMW style wheels 38mm offset.

There's something that EVERYBODY needs to understand about wheels.....YOU, and only YOU, have to like what they look like on your car. It's your car, and you're free to dress it up any way that will make YOU happy.

Having said that, I personally like the look of the "mesh" wheels on the 4th gen Camaros. A number of years ago, I had a set of the "first generation" CCWs, which were basically a BBS mesh look alike. They were 16x9.5". The only reason I sold them is because I wanted to try some 17s on the car, and by then, CCW had gone to a center that I didn't quite like as much, so I tried something else. In retrospect, I wish I had kept them...

(There's a place called ESM wheels, that makes "mesh center" wheels in BMW lug patterns, which are very close to the Camaro's pattern, but I'm not positive that their offsets would be correct for an F-bod...)

LT1 cars = 10 spoke SS wheels
LS1 cars = ZR1 (C4)

Keep it simple....

On a budget, either SS wheels (ZR1 style or 10 spoke) or newer style vette wheels of some nature (C5 thins, C5 Z06, C6, C6 Z06, C6 spyder) OE offers good prices on vette replicas. Also you can watch craigslist.

My '96 with silver 10 spoke SS's off an '01 SS, 275 tires all the way round:

search for RPM 505...best price for look. Mesh looks superb on any Camaro. Go with 18'' IMO, its the best size for look and price. 19'' is the most you wanna go, but its more pimp/tuner style. MRR have very nice mesh wheels in black too.

Dont listen to others too much, do what you really want. Some plp say that ZR1 in 17' are the best looking wheels which I totally disagree. On a tight budget, its ok... I upgraded from my factory chrome ZR1 to sylver 505 RPM in 18'' ; its a night and day difference even though my stockers were looking good.

Quick question, you still feel this way? Is this in ranked order? Any recs on where best to find aftermarket C5 zo6? I found this place but not sure about the quality -- Corvette Wheels - CV04 Corvette C5 Z06 Wheels - Black Mach'd 18x10.5/17x9.5 (oewheelsllc.com)

That 11 was years ago and that was his opinion. I don't share his opinion and I don't like black wheels with machined lip, or chrome, or staggering 17/18. Again, my opinion. I have bought wheels from oewheelsllc before and I thought the quality was quite good for the price. You have to pay attention to offsets though because they may not be ideal.
