Default 33X14.5-15 Tires

My 73 Nova has a set of M/T 33X14.5-15 slicks. Since it's a street car, I need a tire that will hook up and be decent for street use. Need the 33" to offset the 4.89 gear. And it's tubbed to death so they need to be wide. The tires on it now measure a tad over 15" wide.

Been told the old school M/T street tires are not very round and cause all kinds of problems. Could use some advice....

30 views and no posts. I think everyone was excited to see a 4th gen with some big meats.

I doubt most people on here have much experience with tires that big.

Good luck

I'm guessing MT's are about it.

Those tires on a Camaro would be different

My 67 had M&H Racemasters on it and they were about 12" wide and 30" tall and fit in the wheel wells.

33's, damn! What kind of lift kit are you running to fit those, lol.

I had to lift my Jeep just to fit 31's on it!

It's not really lifted, just tubbed and has a narrowed 9".

Look at the 62 in my garage, it's about the same. I'll try to add some pictures of the rear of the 73 later.
