Default Need new front tires

Looking for some new front tires. My old *** Kumho Ecstas have had it. I'm looking for something with a good sidewall for handling and braking at speeds of 130+. Wear isn't really a big deal, but they will also be street tires, so they have to be safe in the rain (not at high speeds, of course.) This is what I've seen so far, although I would prefer a higher speed rating. Need to stay under $200 a piece if I can.

Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport
Kumho Ecsta XS KU36

The 760's are much better in rain over the XS. The Kumho XS is a very grippy dry focused tire.

Then I take it the kumho is better than the 760 for dry runs?

FML nationwide backorder on the kumhos in 275/40/17. Nonsponsor guy I spoke with said maybe 4-6 weeks and the guy I spoke with at TireRack said he called Kumho to ask for me and they said they had no info about future availability. I guess I could put 285s on the front since they're available, but I don't know if that would affect sidewall stability in any appreciable way.

I suppose I can add the Nitto NT05 into the mix. Treadwear is about the same.
