I am wanting to buy the race stars for the front of my car. Here is the link to where I am wanting to buy them from.

It says it has 1.50" back spacing. Is that enuf to clear the front calipers? Someone please let me know if the wheels I posted in the link above will work on my 99 f-body. Thanks!

If your going to use them for drag racing I suggest you read about there one size fits all idea, you might change your mind on going with them. There nice looking wheels though, I'm just not a fan of how they mount

Yea I seen that. It doesn't bother me. I talked to one of the guys at race star industries... I don't think they could legally sell them if it was unsafe. As long as the lugs are tight it will be good. They look great and are a really good price. I'm thinking about getting the rears also now and selling my zr1's.

Arent the race stars suppose to actually fit our 4th gens without any modifications? For the price is not bad, im interested, just wanting to know the backspacing to use. =/

I have them (trying to sell them) and had to grind all of 5 minutes on each caliper on the fin looking area.

not going to use them anytime soon so rather have the money then the wheels












also im a little bit when it comes to the abs issues since i have a 27x11.5 rear tire and the front tire is a 26x4.5 lol
