Default 19x12 wheels, tuning?

I've never had wheels on my 4th gen until now. I have some c6z wheels on it (19x12 rear). These things are pretty heavy and they are considerably bigger than my stock zr1's and it feels like its lost a little oomph in the accelatation dept. Is this effecting the cars tune? Its a stock tune. The mph does not seem to be too far off. Kind of a dumb question but I don't want to mess anything up or go slower. I'm used to my old fox body technology lol

You need to have your PCM flashed with the correct tire circumference so your speedometer will read correctly.

What are you running on those 19x12's? 315's, 335's, 345's? Not that it really matter's they are considerably bigger than the 16x8, or 17x9, wheels that come on stock 4th gens. You've increased the weight, and width, and by doing so increased resistance. So what you feel is real -- you've traded power for looks, and grip. Not that I'm complaining. I'm sure 12" of width on the rear looks great.
