That's what I'm thinking but I can't figure out how, it should be to the fender 1/2 inch with the 5.5 bs.... Also these 15x10 weld rims measure 11 1/2 inches outside to outside

Stock rear axle uses 7.5" backspace..so if you cut 2.5 off the rear end, to put the wheel in a stock location you would need a 5.0" backspace to put the wheel where it would sit correctly. You will probably need a 1/2 inch spacer, or send them back and go with 4.5" backspace.

I wouldnt run that big of a spacer if you plan on racing it. Thats a lot of stress on studs. Cut your bump stops off that will help for sure, but I would get a different back space. Iv got 5bs on mine with 2.5s cut off each side and I had to do a little work to get them to fit.

Not to be a dick, but can't you guys do simple math? Lol. Obviously if 7.5 is standard, and you take 2.5" off, 5.5 isn't going to cut it.

I didn't really even think about it when I ordered them I told them what the rear end was and that's what they told me to go with (Jim himself at jims racing wheels) so I took his word for it, so if I get the 4.5 it should bring me off the bump stop more?

yeah you needed a 5.0 bs
either that or get a rearend thats narrowed 2" per side instead of 2.5"

BTW if you go with a 4.5 bs
IMO, it will still out too far

They don't make them in 5 , I'm going to try the 4.5 and I guess they might stick out 1/2 inch more

You are going to have to cut the bump stop mount and you may have to modify the the front of the inner fender well. Scroll down once you open the link.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/drag-raci...-build-11.html

To cut the bump stop, I used a sawzal and 4" hole saw.
