Got a hold of some ccw classics 16x10 all around. There in rough shape and need to shine them up! Was just going to powder coat them all black but decided to try to clean them up first. I know will probably have to wet sand and buff. Looking for the right and best way to clean them up

I redid mine and it was a bitch. I got so sick of polishing them all the time. Then I just decided to powdercoat the centers.

He was going to try to put them in the rear as drag wheels. Yea they are like auto cross wheels orsome ****. I might sale the fronts and just get me a 16x9 in the front or a 17

You can just change the inner hoop on the fronts for one that's an inch narrower to get a 16x9". Although I think 10" wheels on the front look perfect. If anything make your rears 16x11". Nice snag on a beat up set of wheels. Just powder them and save the time and effort.

I got a rough polish from lowes. (truck tool box polish), and I finished them off with Adams polish. The before was similar to yours, the after, AMAZING.
I've had idk how many offers from people on my wheels now.

Sorry for the hijack, put on my c6 rims, they are really faded and scuffed up. How would i go about restoring them? Wet sand and buff? What grit paper?

I get stupid good rate from a local guy... but imo, just have them pcd chrome or black centers with chrome lip, and call it a day polishing these every week would be a HUGE pita lol...

if it makes you feel better look at what condition my 3 pieces came in (I got mine for free however) my plan is to have them pcd hypersilver centers with a chrome hoops

Well I wet sanded a part behind the actual face of the wheel(on the lip, but you can't see it when the face is on it) and it was pretty freakin shiny. I just didn't have high enough grit paper to wanna do the whole wheel. So I just polished it and it was a world of differences alone. Maybe I'll wet sand it next time I get bored. Lol here's a quick pic. Doesn't really show off the wheels though.
