Whats needed to fo\
I have a brand new set of et streets in 3153517 that the wife bought me for my previous mustang. I sold that car and now have a 02 TA and im looking to see what rim is out there in 17x10.5 for cheap as these will only go on for track duty. And what all will need to be done to fit. I dont want to BF hammer it and or roll lip car is in mint condition so i dont want to mess with it. Just want them to be able to put on drive to track and back home without cutting the tire all up and rubbing thanks and pics if possible

Run a 1/4" or 3/8" spacer, and longer/stronger ARP wheel studs for saftey. Although a lot of people run 1/4" all day on stock studs, i personally wont run any type of spacers without the upgraded studs. Using 1/4" with 17s you might have to trim the bump stop slightly, im used to 18s. Maybe somebody else can chime in on this.
You will have to trim the longer arp studs if you have closed ended lug nuts, grinder cut-off wheel and grinder to smooth, use old set of lugnuts to grind up against for smooth threads and flatter ends.
And they will still fit inside the fender no problems, if your lowered, roll the fender lips.
Although it would be so much easier and cheaper to massage the inner fenders, grind on the bumpstop a little bit, and spray some rubber undercoating to make it look nice.
Regardless, i recommend upgrading the studs and running a 3/8" spacer if you dont wanna do some fitment. Once you trim the studs properly youll be able to run them with or without the spacers with the same lug nuts, this is because you wont have that tapered end on the stud anymore, giving you lots more thread contact.
Ive personally ran these in front and back with upgraded studs, and 315/30/18 MT ETs, However they never saw any drag time.
Maybe do some measuring or a 'washer mock up" to see how you want them to fit, me id just go with the 3/8s
ARP studs 1" longer than stock part number: 100-7708
1/4" Billet Specialties Street Lite Spacers part number: WS3086325
3/8" Billet Specialties Street Lite Spacers part number: WSG5L375
All in all probably about 60 bucks

I would advise at least a 10" wide wheel. Check out OEwheels, theyre a sponsor here and make a great budget wheel. What wheels do you have now? They could already make 10" version in what you have now, like the zr1 style wheels

OEwheels only has them in 17X11's to fit 315's, but those wheels have the perfect offset for a TA with a stock supension, no BFH and no fender rolling required.

They also have them in polished and black w/polished lip as well
