Default Your opinion of the nicest wheels on a Camaro SS.

I just bought a white 2001 Camaro SS, and Im wanting to slam it and throw some nice wheels on it. Im wanting to stay away from the $5k wheels. This is "supposed" to be a work car and I dont want to turn this car into another money pit. So, Im hoping some of you guys can chime in and give me your opinion on some really nice looking wheels.

Thanks in advanced,

Charlie

If you want to do it on the cheap, then C5 DD, ZR1, or Z06 wheels are a nice addition...but then again, the rest of the world has those wheels too...

If you want to spend a little more, maybe try the Miro 111.

Keep it simple 10 spoke camaro wheels . They come in chorme/polished/alloy.
cheap/low maintence 17x9" wheels and enough to fit 275s

Or... OR

Pulls the wheels off from your grand sport and get some high end wheels for the vette since its not a daily and put factory GS wheels on the camaro.

That's exactly what I do If I had 2 LSX cars.

American Racing torque M's look good and are priced right. You can get them chrome or black, they might have a few more options.

my fav cheap wheels are the c5dd, forgestar f05s are really nice but only come in 19s, used set of fm5s in great shape with good tires will run you about 2200-2500 ,

White 01 camaro SS....

and how any do you see with a 28" tire out back on the everday "vette wheels"??

BTW, I had black TTM's on the car before and I didnt like them. To plain and stock mustangs have them....The car also came with chrome 10 spokes. Got rid of those as well simply because they arent wide enough to fit a big meat out back.

Well, the car came with chrome 10 spokes and Im in the process of selling those right now. And Im not a big fan of the fm5's. I was thinking about a DD C6Z06 rim, but Im wanting 18 and 19" and Im wanting to do a 315 out back. But Im wondering if Ill rub.. I do want to lower the car as well. I dont race it, but Id like my work car to at least look nice. As for the stock Grand Sport rims on my Vette, I just sold those and Im waiting on my Deep Concave Mesh 8 rims from 360 Forged..
