Where to get '98-'02 SS wheels?
I'd like to upgrade the wheels on my Camaro, the snowflake wheels arne't cutting it anymore. Economy cars come stock with 17 inch wheels now, so my 16 inchers look pretty small.
Anyone have any idea where I can get a new set of SS wheels? I'll even take a used set in good condition for a good price.
Also, will I have to recalibrate the PCMfor 17 inch wheels? Or will the MPH not be off enough?

If you get 275/45/17 it will not mess up the odomoter. No need to recalibrate anything.

You definitely do NOT need 275/45/17 sized tires. You want to get 275/40/17, which was the stock tire size for an SS.
If you go with 275/40/17 you will not need to change anything with shift points nor speedometer readings. The height difference is only .01" (25.65 vs 25.66) between your stock 245/50/16 tires and the 275/40/17 SS sized tires.

I think it is because the tire manufactures can charge more and justify that the mold used for them cost more regardless of about of rubber used to make them.
In other words they charge more because they can.
