Default Want new wheels. Light, strong & nice looking 1pc 3pc?

Hey guys/gals i am doing weight reduction on my car and one of the things i wanna do is reduce the unsprung weight! My current street setup weight around ~55lbs per wheel with tires. My wheels alone probably weight around 25-30lbs.

So im looking to get new wheels my son has a wheel shop that they make wheels so ima go get my wheel wells measured cause i want a BIG LIP! I also wanted to know what other guys are running to get the best of the worlds a wheel can have. My current wheels are drift r for the street ccw for the track with skinnies in the front. also not sure whether to go with 1pc or 3pc. my son says to go 3 piece cause how custom i can get but not sure. even though i think my ccw are 3 piece so i think he has a point LOL. post pix of your performance wheels setups i would like to see it!!

What size are you looking for,imo 3 p, wheel is the very best option. But before i suggest anything would need to know what size, what the car is used for,my fav wheels are bogarts, and do you have a cut down rear end? That imo is the only way to get that deep dish look

Three piece is definitely the way to go. CCW is an 'entry level' 3-piece wheel. I'd imagine that you're running a set of Classics at the track.

You won't be able to get a huge dish without narrowing the rear axle and/or doing a minitub.

Other popular 3-piece wheels for F-Bodies are Fikse FM-5 and FM-10. I have a set of 17" FM-10s if you're interested.

Good luck with your search!
