Default White TA, black or chrome rims???

Hey Guys,

(On my white TA)
I've been having a debate on whether or not I should get Black rims with a chrome lip or just all chrome rims...

I'm looking at the American Torque Thrust rims,, I like the look of both and those suckers are expensive so I'd like to make sure I get a good choice haha.

Opinions please
I'm looking to also get black fender slash marks with all the black stickers. (Bird in front, Trans Am rocker panel, Pontiac lettering, etc.).

Any pics of the car? If u have enough black accents then I say black but if not, chrome or polished.

Chrome without a doubt. Do the black overlays like you were saying, as well as the CETA mod and it will look clean. Chrome wheels look soo much nicer on light colored cars, i.e. pewter, white. Black wheels are played out IMO

SORRY totally forgot to say I also did the CETA mod!
I know, I've just seen a couple members with both black & chrome..

I'm leaning a little more towards chrome now tho. But any other ideas or suggestions?

My opinion on the black wheel debate is that you have to go gloss if you go black. I think that flat black wheels on a white car will just look unfinished...but gloss can look really good. Also, do not do a machined/polished lip, unless it has a lot of width. Generally speaking, I think that chrome/polished is the way to go on white.

I think balck looks good if you have black accents, such as overlays and/or Blackbird stripes.

But chrome looks REALLY good on a white car IMO, so if you're going for the clean look, I'd go chrome/polished.

And just IMO, but fender hash marks are stupid and make no sense on Birds. They were originally a Corvette Gran Sport thing (60's race cars), so they have zero reason to be on a Trans Am.

Yeah definitely not a flat black, it would either have to be glossed black or chrome/polished.

I really like the look of those polished ones too!
