Default c5s rubbing

i recently bought a set of gm c5s that came with a 265/40/17 in the front, the only problem is they rubbed bad and now i have to get new tires. I was wondering if i got a 275/40 on the front would i still have this problem, and do i need to get a spacer of some sort?
the rear are 295/35/18 and they are great, and only rub when i go over bumps or turning hard...
any input would be greatly appreciated

That wheel came a 245 45 17 front and probably wouldn't rub if you had that on it but I bet will rub with a 275 and probably worse than with the 265
