Default Offset help!!!! NEED ADVICE ASAP!!!!

i want to but c6 rims 18x9.5 with an offset of 58 for my 2001 camaro v6 will it work up front? i currently have 20x8.5 forte rims with a offset of 15 and they rub and make really loud grinding noises when turning and going straight simetimes. and my mom and her bf who is pretty much a mechanic thinks theyll rub since my 8.5 wide rims r already rubbbing. on my current rims i have 255/35/zr20 what size tire would i need for the c6 if they fit?
thanx for an advice!!!!

Your current wheels/tires rub because the offset is way too low (I bet they stick out) and the entire combination is a good 2" too tall

The C6 wheels will fit fine - 275/35 would be a good size to run

Yeah, I joined the club

265s will work but may look a bit 'stretched'

In the sig pic? 17x9.5 ZR1s 56mm offset fronts and 17x11 36mm rears. I sold them two weeks ago and currently have 19x8.5 RPM 505s 38mm offset all around
