Exclamation ARE - American Racing Wheel Identification

...

Can anyone help ID these 16" ARE wheels. They came on my brothers '72 GTO/Lemans. They obviously fit the car they came on but I was looking for info about the model, backspacing/offset, what the other lug pattern is, etc.

I've never seen ARE wheels like this drilled for 2 different 5 lug bolt patterns.

They have a bunch of numbers stamped into the back but I've found nothing after searching them. The numbers read as follows

ARE 16x(blank box) - I'm guessing they're 16x8
Mold 1

053194212
053194204
3

Anyone ever see these before?

No help on this end, looked and couldn't find nothing. Those rims are from the early 80's so you are have a hard time finding info. A lot of people put them on mini trucks, regales, and cutlasses. I believe they were known as prime 5 star rims, which I believe prime was part of American racing.

Good luck on your search, either way there not worth much.....

May get more at the aluminum scrap yard lol....

The tires are in great shape and the rims aren't bad but I'm trying to get rid of them for my brother. So I'm just looking for info about rim, not sure if I can measure all aspects by myself.
