Default Forgestar CF5 on 4th gen Camaro

I've had CCW's for 5+ years now, and I'm kind of getting sick of them (blasphemy, I know). Don't get me wrong, they're beautiful wheels, but I wouldn't mind if I never had to polish another wheel, and I'd really like to upgrade to 19's. Problem is, I don't want to spend much money and I have expensive taste. Forgestars are the only high end forged wheels on the market that are reasonably priced, and I figure I could sell my CCW's and just about break even on new Forgestars and tires. I like the CF5's, but no one else out there seems to have them on a 4th gen, so I did a photoshop. What do you guys think? I'm definitely leaning towards doing it. I can get my 19's, give my car a new look, and make my life much easier every time I wash the car!

I like it! Your car does look badass as it sits now though. Their cheaper than other forged wheels like CCW and Fikse because their actually not forged. Still very light and strong though.

Why not just powder coat the CCW's? 505 > Forgestar. The lip and spoke concave/curve does it for me on the 505's.

I don't think it looks better or worse, but different. You would definitely need to whistler the headlights if you went with the new wheels.

I've thought about powder coating, but just can't bring myself to do it. The finish is too nice on the wheels now, and I'd hate to spend money on powder coating just to cheapen not only the look of the wheels, but also the actual value of them. I'd rather just sell them and let the next guy enjoy them.

Jeeze man, you have the "easy" CCWs to keep clean too! Bolt your ***** back on and try keeping a set of Classics clean! But I do like those Forgestars on it!

Ha, yeah yeah. I could deal with it, I just don't really want to anymore, and it lets me justify getting rid of the wheels I swore I never would...

i knew i've seen your car around. i went to school down at U of I, y not plasti dip your rims to see if you like the all black look, or just do the 5 spokes? To me, I would have a hard time justifying selling my CCW's for another rim, but I do understand getting bored of a look.

the only thing, if your going to switch your rims and the look of the car, why go from a 5 spoke rim, to another 5 spoke rim? why not do something a bit more drastic. the Forgestars do look good, but at the same time they aren't different enough from the CCW's to justify going through the hassle. Just my opinion, but your car looks great as is and will look great with the other rims as well
