Default M&H RaceMaster

Has anyone tried the 275/50/17 tire by M&H?!?! It a 28inch tall tire....Just wondering how they will fit and how good or bad they work. Here a link from Summit Racing for that particular tire.

Me too, LOL.. I think this is the only 28" tall DR for a 17.

For the amount of streetability they offer along with a decent bite I think they are a very decent choice. Now do I think they work as well as the M/T or the Hoosiers, no I dont, but with this being basically your only good option for a 28inch tall size for a 17inch wheel it really leaves you no option. These tires seem to typically run a little bit more narrow than other 275 width tires so fitment should not be an issue. They hook good at the track and do a pretty decent job on the street as well.

They have worked well on several of my cars and I think you know how quick they have been. Someone here might know more though. Internet engineering at it's finest.

Im here to save the day..... I wish they were a tad wider, they seemed to hook up slightly better than the et streets i had. I ran the M&H's for about 2 years without complaints, except for they rubbed my back bumper so I put on adjustable LCA's on and shifted the axle forward about a 1/4".

Next to some 275/40/17 mickeys

Got my 275-50-17's on tonight. So far they seem like an awesome tire.
They seem to hook real good and they look good.

Did the M&H hook better than the M/T?

I'm M6 and for my street tires I would consider these because of the side wall.

Back in the day we ONLY used M&H racemasters they bit harder than ANY other tire of the kind!!!!!!!! The only problem was the available sizes however M&H has been working on the size applications.
Stick cars will like these tires, definitely don't expect your 10 bolt to live long expect broken carriers and or axles...........

I ran the 275 55 R16s on my stockers when I wanted the stealth look and a 28" tire. They hooked in the 1.59 range to 60' at the track and were also substantially lighter than any comparable M/T DR. They do run a tad narrow, but I really liked the performance and streetability of these tires.
