Default magnesium c5s

i just bought a set and have a few questions before i can bolt em on. What is the offset on these wheels? Also if anybody has tire size suggestions I'm all ears. I was thinking 245 45 17s front and 285 35 18s back. thanks for any and all help.

Magnesium wheels for a C5 come in two sizes; 17x8.5 for the front wheels, and 18x9.5" for the rear wheels.

I would put 245/45/17 on the front wheels, and a 275/40/18 on the rears. A 295 tire on a 9.5" wheel is a little on the large side.

Of course some will say otherwise, but I'm just going by the manufacturer recommended sizes.

Hell, some people put a 315 on a 9.5" wheel....but those are also the same people that keep touching the electric fence or say, well my buddy did or I know a guy that did it; so why not me?

Just my opinion.

any opinions on going with 285s on a 9.5'' rim, i think im sticking with the 245s up front and 285s would keep the heights close while having the wider rear.

285's fit well on the rears. I run 275/40 on the front and 295/35/18 bfg on the rear. the tires arent too big for the wheels many corvette guys run that size on the 9.5" rim and to be honest there really isnt any bulge on the tire it fits on there pretty nicely
