launching on Hoosiers 28x10

launching on Hoosiers 28x10 im heading to the track next month in my 98 t/a, A4 (flt level 4 4l60e, SS3600), H/C/I, stock 10bolt, 3.23's.
i found a good deal on a set of Hoosier 28x10 tires mounted on camaro salad shooter wheels, so i picked them up. but i have no idea on what pressure i should run them at or how to launch. i have LCas, lowering springs, relocation brackets, PHB. i dont really care if i cut 1.5 60's or anything so maybe i can baby it a little to preserve the rear...?
im going to be crossing my fingers that it holds up for the one and only track day im attending this year, but taking a truck and trailer just in case.

not knowing what heads, cam and intake you have... I believe a 3.23 with a 28 inch tire is going to hurt your 60' Hell I'll bet you could run the pressures up above 20... that'll help at the big end too. Good luck. Let us know how it goes.

Good combo, I'm sure it runs strong... I'm going to stick with my statement above. I'll even bet you could run upwards of 25 or more. A 28" tire is a lot of tire for a 3.23 and an N/A combination. The more pressure you can get away with running, the better. Personally, I'd start at 28 and give it hell.

Do you have street tires? If so, drive around the water. Pre-Stage let the guy next to you do the same. The rest you can experiment with. One thing I will tell you is dont even worry about cutting a good light at first. Just get comfortable with a routine. After my first few runs trying to do too much at one time, I just left after the guy next to me left on my last two runs. When you get rid of the jitters then try to cut a good light but just get comfortable first. It will help you in the long run.
As for techniques, I will let the internet and real experts answer that.
