Default 1996 Z28- Will pulling ABS Fuse cure ABS light?

Hey, Just reading and searching on the forums, but I could not find a direct answer.

I would like to put a taller tire (27.76) and I know it may/will casue the ABS light to come on. (Not sure about a 96?)

At any rate, would pulling any fuses that would disable the system turn the light off the dash??
Thanks!

You will need to pull the ABS fuse when running a taller tire in the rear. If you don't the ABS will activate when braking hard. Pulling the fuse causes the ABS light on the dash to stay on.

When I pulled my fuse I just took a small strip of electrical tape and put it on the backside of the cluster behind "ABS INOP" so The light would not show up.

Or you could just ignore the light like I have done for the past 3 years and enjoy great traction......

Agreed, and if the light is a concern you can always pull the cluster out and remove the light for the ABS trouble light.
