Default finally getting around to posting some pics of my setup: 17" GTO wheels on F-body

I bought these off a local forum member, and couldn't find many other pics of them on f-bodies. I wasn't sure about them at first but they have grown on me. 245/45/17's on front and 275/40 NT05's out back. What do you guys think?

Doesn't look too bad, they seem to fit the body better than on the GTOs where they look way to small.

thanks guys, going to leave them like this for now. they are in too nice of condition to do anything permanent to them. I may however try some of the new gunmetal plasti-dip on them to see how i like it. I like the wheels on the car because it gives a stock-ish appearance, but people who know cars can tell what they are. I am in need of a set of centercaps for them if anyone happens to have some, I think they would finish them off nicely

And here I am thinking the exact opposite. They look too small to me.

I don't want to be party pooper but I don't care for them on the fbody. This is what hot rodding is all about though. Sweet bird by the way!

Any kind of modifications needed to fit? Im getting ready to buy some of these wheels, wondering how they actually fit with the different lug patterns, (5x120.65 and 5x 120mm)

all I had to to was take out a little ridge in the center part where it fits the hub. 5 mins with a die grinder or dremel will fix it. you will see what I mean when you look at the wheels, inside where the centercap goes, at the back of it is a very slight step down in size. just open it back up to the diameter of the rest of it and you are good to go. bolted right on

they are not my first choice, I would still love to have my TSW's back on, but I still can't find a replacement

honestly, these came up by complete chance. I had been riding around for months with my TSW's on the front and a set of 16" base model bird wheels on the back while I tried to find a replacement for my bent wheel. while looking this set came up on the local section of this forum for a price I couldn't pass up. so I decided to try them and see how I liek them. if nothing else they are better to ride on for now than the mismatched wheels while I try to find a replacement TSW
