Does anyone know if they make steelies for 4th gen f bodies? the car I want to buy is a 2000 trans am with $3500 of rims/tires on it and I don't like them... Chrome Corvette rims 18" in front 19" in the back. ANYWAYS. I just want cheap rims that I can use as backups whenever I need to and so I can sell the rims and tires on the car currently to fund different ones/"get" the car for $5500-6000 vs. $9000.

There are pics of the car currently.

Also, there is nothing about those wheels that make them worth $3500. Even if they were brand new OEM wheels and tires, they aren't worth that much. Plus, I doubt they are.

Find a plain Jane v6 car that came with hubcaps and get the steel wheels off it.

I doubt those will clear your brakes. F-body specific drag wheels are the only 15's that I know of that will clear LS1 F-body brakes.

What he said^^

This is what I did in the past when I was transitioning to other wheels. I believe the wheels/tires cost me $60

And I agree, those wheels aren't anywhere close to $3500 wheels.

Those look like regular old ls1 brakes to me. Only way to tell if they are c5 brakes is the rotor size and caliper bracket. And I'll also state those wheels and tires are nowhere near $3500.......

Not if you have 13 inch Corvette brakes, your going to need 17's to clear them.
