Default 17" Wheel Questions

Recently purchased my 2000 Pewter TA and beginning to look at wheel/tire setups.
I have decided on the Torq Thrust 2.1's 17" 46mm offset

Front: 17 x 9.5 275/40/17
Rear: 17 x ???

What would be widest/best looking wheel & tire setup that I can go with without "modifying" the fender with a hammer and not worrying about rubbing, etc. Stock suspension.

Input and pictures would be great.
Thanks in advance.

I run 17x11 with nittos on my rear with no rubbing issues, However nitto's tires tend to run a little narrow. If you ran something like a BFG. You'd probably have to do some minor hammering. You will need an adj. pan hard bar though if you run that wide.

I'm looking at BFG tires. So I should be good with 17x9.5 275/40/17 Front & 17x10 275/40/17 in rear without any mods?

I might just go with my original plan and 9.5's on all fours.

As far as the wheel offset +46mm .......this should work?

Yea you would be more than fine. Run you a 17x 11 in the rear with a 315, trust me it will look way better.46 is what my offset is on my Torque thrust IIs so you will be cool.
