Default Chrome to polished?

Is there a way to make my chrome wheels have a polished look? I'm kinda tired of the chrome look and want to get a polished look from my wheels but I don't know how to approach this. Anybody have an idea how? Or have done this before?

The chrome would need to be stripped.

What kind of wheels are they? It may be more cost effect/time effective to sell and buy polished.

Sell and buy polished wheels is the best way to achieve this look, there 2 worlds apart,a polished wheel looks way better imo but it blows being a slave to your wheels,i dont mind polishing wheels but it does get old,if this is a car ya drive alot i would think real hard about that decision

first off the wheel must be aluminum to be polished. not steel.

second, you can always have the wheels cleared over after polishing to keep maintenance low.
