Default BFH or spacer

I just got a set of chrome z06 rims, the rears are 18x10.5 with 58 offset. the sticky says ill need the BFH mod or a small spacer. The way i see it the BFH mod is free and easy. any pros to using small spacers insted?

im runing G force drag radials 295/35/18 if that makes a difference

Me personally, i don't like the idea of using spacers on the rear wheel where all your torque is coming from. Especially if you are using the stock wheel studs. I would just BFH, and see where you are at and then go from there. If you do go the spacer route i would for sure upgrade the wheel studs to a set of longer ARP's
