Will a 345-30-19 work with 285-35-18?
I'm currently running 325-30-19 (26.7 tall) rear and 285-35-18 (25.9 tall) front. The time has come for a stickier tire. The only options I have are nt05 335-30-19 (26.9 tall) or nt05r 345-30-19 (27.4 tall). I really want the r's but don't know if the added height will cause abs tcs and other issues.
I ran into this problem once already using 285-30-18 (24.8 tall) with 325-30-19 (26.7 tall) Will the 345 work? The overall difference now front to back is .8. With the 345 the difference will be 1.5. Or should I just get the 335's (difference of 1.0)
Thanks

Forgot to add that Ive seen c6z's run this setup several times. Just could not find a f-body with 285-35-18 front and 345-30-19 rear. Need tires ASAP because 1st through 3rd are useless. And I'm tired of being called out! Runs must be from 70mph+ with the current setup

Maybe I worded it wrong! I know they will fit. I'm just need to know if this would cause tcs abs issues. As far as suspension everything's there. Near slick Goodyear f1's (run flats) are super hard. Ask any vette owner. They would spin badly from a roll when it was just h/c.

I'm not sure about the abs or tcs.
Have you rolled your fenders and BFH so those arent rubbing? Adj PHB?

Rear suspension setup:
Adjustable lca's
Adjustable panard
Koni shocks
B&G springs
Basically everything expect torque arm and 12 bolt. Those mods are coming very soon. I know I'm on borrowed time with the 10 bolt. I'm not looking to launch from a dead stop just control some of the spinning from a roll. That's atleast till I get 12 bolt. Currently I'm at 582 rwhp and 520 rwtrq. And fenders and bfh mod are done. Nitto tires seem to run narrower than others. I'm only looking at about 3/8" wider with the 345 and 1/4 wider with the 335.

here's my $0.02
well with 285/35/18 and 345/30/19 your tire options are
Michelin Pilot Sports
Michelin Pilot Super Sports
NTO5R
NTO5
at 60mph your rear tires will be moving 4.99% slower which equates to 57.1mph...which is a difference of 4.76% in diameter....I mean if you're only using this for a drag set up, I guess you're okay, I wouldn't advise daily driving with this set up as the +3% tolerance in diameter will affect braking and stopping ability. If I were you I'd dump the 19" wheels and go with 18s and you can run Hoosier drag radials in a 335/30/18 For $260/piece on jegs.com or you can run 345/30/18 BFGOODRICH drag radials or Mickey Thompson ET STreet drag radials. for about $350/piece
I'm kind of in the same boat as I am getting 18X9.5/18X12 Forgestar CF5s and I want to run 275/35/F and 335/30/R and my choices for street tires are Michelin Pilot sport PS2s BFG GFORCE KDW2s or BFG GForce Rivals or Pirelli PZeros.

Thanks demonicZ for doing the math. I guess I'll go with the nt05 335-30-19 being that its only 1 tenth taller. Hopefully the nt05 offers more grip from a roll! Eventually I'll get a drag setup for the track.
