2000 camaro ss ls1 / ms3 cam ,auto 4l60e 3600 stall , 275-60-15 M/T DragRadial , should i run a 4:10 or a 3.73 gear ?... just worried about 1st gear being to low for 4:10's

I was stuck deciding between 3.73's & 4.10's too. I had a 27" 295/45/17 MT drag radial so I went with a 3.90 gear. If I had to do it again I would choose a 4.10. This was also with a 4L60E car.

Great thanks also what RPM did you go thru the traps with 3:90's ?

I'd be looking at putting 4.10s in, are you still on the 10 bolt? I ran 4.10s in my 10 bolt with 26" tires and times are in sig, shifted at 6400 and trapped at 6400. With the ms3 and a 3600 converter you'll need more gear with the 28" tire!! I'm changing from the 3.73s to 4.30s and the MT DRs 295/55-15 (27.8"). The 3.73s slowed my et and mph but the 60' was still ok.
