Default Wheels and tires

Its me again.. Ha I have a 99 Trans Am I purchased 15X8 Weld Pro Stars with MT 275/55R15 for the rear and I have the 17X7 Race Star 92 series with 205/50R17 in the front..! Now to my problem... I had to shave my rear calipers down so that the wheels would clear them without rubbing.. Now that thats done and they are installed on the car my abs inop light and brake light are on, I mean they dont come on untill after a few mins of driving and stopping but they constantly come on now.. Obv there is something going on and Im not quite sure what it is.. If there is someone out there that has run into this prob and could help me fix that it would be greatly appreciated.. Sorry for so many questions so soon..!!! Thank you to all on this site...

I'm not 100% positive but I believe the reason the light comes on is becuase of the difference in tire height

Yes, it is the tire height difference that is your problem.

You need the same height tires front and rear to fix it. Or you could ignore it and just know that you don't have ABS. Not like you're going to have the greatest braking power with those skinny front tires anyway, so always drive with that in mind.

Everyone is giving you the right advice. As a general rule the overall diameter needs to be with in 3%. Anything outside of this and problems often arise.
