do a bit of research at Tirerack. That's where I've had pretty good luck finding matches

Here's a couple more choices.

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....e=135YR7F1GSD3

These Nitto tires are not drag radials.

I have Nitto NT555 tires on all 4 corners one my car and I like them, they are soooooo much better than the Sumito tires I had before. It's a lot more sure footed than before. Remember these are the non drag radials.

I would suggest them, I'm sure there are better tires out there, but they are a damn good tire for the price.

Sumitomos are junk. Go with Nitto's. 555's are nice tires and are available in both sizes.

I recommend discounttiredirect.com. All of their prices include shipping, and if you can find them cheaper somewhere else, they usually beat the other place's price from my experience. The guys there are great and knowledgeable too.

Another vote for the Nitto 555's. Great everyday tire.

Agree with you on the Sumitomo's. They are awful...loud & substandard materials. Ask here around and you will find they flat spot if not driven regularly until they warm up...like old polyester / bias tires. Nice!!!

I think all of us 11" rear ZR1 guys will eventually have to go to 18" or 19" set-ups to get decent tires. Not many lines offering 315/35ZR17.

I have not seen them mentioned, but the Nitto NT05s come in both sizes. A great performance tire too.

I've got NT05's in 275/315 and they are awesome. They are only 200 treadwear though, so if your car is a daily I would go with the 555's for better tread life and better in the rain.

I'm running Nitto 555s, 275 up front and 315s in the rear. Love them, they hook pretty well in my H/C Z28. They handle pretty well too.

I would rather have these too. I currently have the nitto nt555's, but don't like them since they run narrow. I just purchased some bfgoodrich g-force sport comp-2 tires and these are wider in the same 275/40/17 size. Can't wait to have them mounted.

I couldn't fathom spending over $1300 on street tires. I'd rather have some 555's up front and buy 2 sets of Mickey Thompson's for the rear for about the same price.

Nitto NT05 don't run narrow like the 555 and are pretty superior in every way. Discount Tire Direct has them for pretty close to 555s price too. No reason to run anything else.

I think the set is $796 shipped. I'm actually going to be running the NT05s up front and the NT05Rs out back 275/315.

Perfect example of why to RUN away from Sumitumo 315's. I learned the hard way on Easter going to pick up some more eggs for the girls to color on Easter...

Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3's up front, 275/40r17 with some CRAZY deep treads, and the absolute **** Sumi's in back. Guess who's now in the market for a new pair of Chrome 17x11's and Nitto 555 Extremes?

The only proven Nitto to run narrow is the NT-555R in 315/35/17. In 275/40/17 is the Nitto below spec, or is the BFG above spec. 10.826 section width is the magic number.

Wow that really sucks, I hope no one was hurt!
I'd go over the front suspension really good and make sure to find all the damage, it wouldn't hurt to also check the PHB mount to make sure it's not bent.

Hopefully the damage is minimal.
