Default C6 19x10 in rear what size adapter

Im running an oem C6 19x10 in the rear with a 285 tire and rubbing a little on my fender since Im lowered. I am currently running a 1.25" spacer or adapter do you think I can run a 1" spacer instead to get away from the fender and still not rub anywhere else on the inside? Is anyone running a 1" and it works? Thanks

Do you have a 73MM off-set?

If you're running the stock OEM C6 19x10 w/79mm offset, then I'd stick with the 1.25" adapter...especially if you're running 285's. I ran 275/30/19's with the 1.25" adapter and it was close. The Firebird's can actually step up to the 1.5" adapters, but I'd stay 1.25" on Camaro's. I too am lowered, but I didn't have any rubbing problems with the 275's...

I'd get the bump stop spacers from SLP to keep from rubbing the tires on the fender if you're lowered and having problems...or you can always roll the fenders.

I was looking at my clearances on the inner fender area and it looks like by going to the 1" I would still be clearing everything by at least 1/4". So I was going to order the 1" adapters and try that. It will solve my fender lip rubbing the tire issue. And if I rub anywhere on the inner fender side I figured I could break out the BFH. I just think the 1.25" adapter is putting my tire a little too outboard.

Im not an expert like a few of the guys here but to let you know.. your wheel studs are too long for a one inch adapter i have a 1.25 and the studs i believe need to be ground down a little bit. Just figured i would put that bug in your ear before you ordered 1" studs.

Yeah my wheel studs fit perfectly behind the 1.25" adapter. With the 1" adapter Ill prolly have to grind off the smooth part of the stud before the threads. I'll let you guys know if they fit. The 1" adapters are on their way.

1" adapters work GREAT. No more tire hitting the fender and it was super easy to use a cut off wheel and take the little lip off the wheel studs. I get a very tiny amount of rubbing on hard corners but I think that is the inner fender near the lower control arm. That can be BFH'd out of the way. So I'm much happier with 1" over 1.25". Just my opinion.
