i just installed a set on my TA and they fit fine. No issues at all.

I've got that on the rear of my 2001 Fire Chicken that is lowered and they fit. Keep in mind it is a very close fit after I lowered it. I had to get the panhard rod adjusted just right. But they do fit. I also hear that the Pontiac's may have a bit more rear wheel room than the Chevy's.
