Weld RT-S Part Numbers for 17x9.5/11 and 18x10/11 Combos Inside
Hi all,
Since I'm on a quest for new wheels, I'm looking at every option. Since I did the research here tonight for this, I figured I'd share with folks who might be thinking about the same thing as me. That is to fit a high-quality, lightweight street wheel on your ride that's of exceptional quality
I've included the part numbers with the pad and offset as well as the total price as listed on Summit as of today. All would need to be special ordered, but hopefully, this helps someone who wants to spend a bit more than OE replica wheels but not quite ready to spend the cash for Fikse, CCW, Forgeline, or HRE.
Here are the part numbers for the 17s and 18s for anyone who is interested (can be ordered through Summit using these PNs directly from Weld's catalog):
Weld RT-S Polished Medium Pad +39mm 17x9.5 Front Wheel (PN:71MP7095B68A) aggressive fitment or +50mm (PN: 71MP7095B73A) less aggressive fitment
Weld RT-S Polished Medium Pad +46mm 17x11 Rear Wheel (PN:71MP7110B78A) perfect fitment
$1777 from Summit. Don't know shipping. Their site is broken here at 2 AM...
Weld RT-S Polished High Pad +41mm 18x10 Front Wheel (PN: 71HP8100B71A) this will clear the Brembo CTS-V Calipers... YES!
Weld RT-S Polished Medium Pad +43mm 18x11 Rear Wheel (PN: 71MP8110B77A) may need a fender roll and +56mm (PN: 71MP8110B82A) may need some BFH - wish it came in 50; High Pad has worse offsets
$2360 Summit.
Medium pad has the spoke arching out and clearing calipers with about 1" of clearance - fine for the C5 brake kit or stock brakes. High Pad gives about 2" of clearance, which is needed for the CTS-V caliper - in fact, that wheel will clear the 6-Piston CTS-V from what I understand.
And if you want it with the anodized black face, just add a "B" after the 71H - so 71HB would give you the anodized face. It does increase the price, however.
Thanks and hope this helps someone.

Btw, to get the best possible combination of brake goodness and rear tire traction (and proper size), I'm going to do 18x10s front and 17x11 rears with Toyo R888 275/35-18s and 315/35-17s.
I've seen Supras run these sizes with CCW Classics, and it looks great.

That's not the car I saw, but Titan Motorsports had a Supra years ago set up for 18x10/17x11.5 with a 275/315 combo to fit Brembos up front and run a BFG DR in back that sold me on this as a combination that could work on the street. I think that's before DRs came in every size imaginable. But it was also for weight savings where possible.
On these cars, the front wheel well is actually larger, so it'll probably make them look similar (as is the case with that Supra). The only difference is the tire sidewall.
As for 10" wide rims running a 275 tire? That seems to be the norm if you're after handling. It's a modest stretch to ensure the greatest possible contact patch. For the front tires with big brakes, this is a good thing. I almost want to do an 11.5" in the rear for that same reason, but don't want to stretch the tire at all and give up what little traction I might have in the name of a little more cornering force. Plus the sidewalls are different height - they'll look different stretched or bulged either way.

I agree. If I don't do the CTS-V swap, I'll just do 17s all around since the fitment there is really flush and lightweight.
But, I just don't love the rear fitment in 18s as much. But the 18s in front would clear any brakes you could throw at it outside of the 370mm ZL1 brakes.

You are doing all the research for me here lol. Been beating my head on to what is next after the Torq Thrust IIs. I like the RTS in 17 but been looking at doing the 18x10.5 OEWHeels C5DDs. I want the lip as well.

The lip of the one I posted is going to be a little less - the offset tucks the wheels more. With a 10.5" wide tire, you can go something like 38mm to really push the lip out. That is a 52... so about half an inch. With an 11" the 46mm is about the same as the TT2, so pretty similar lip. But the front will have a little more lip since it's a 39mm - should have plenty of space inside. You could run the 10.5" up front with the 38mm in reality. Too bad there aren't any 295/35s in 17s.
