Default Wheel balancing damage

I brought my stock C6 (19x 10) to tread quarters to have them balanced, and they damaged the paint on the face of the wheel, in a circular pattern right around the center. They said it was because the high offset, they couldn't use their normal balancer so they had to put it on another machine (older technology?)

Anyways, can anyone tell me what kind of balancing machine I should make sure is utilized so this doesn't happen again?

Most of the recent Hunter machines will accommodate a fairly wide rim without any issues. Look for a shop that has their equipment.

If you can't locate anybody by phone, I think Hunter might have a search function on their website, for shops that have their equipment.
