15x10 5.5" BS Wheels with a 2.5" Narrowed Rear?

15x10 5.5" BS Wheels with a 2.5" Narrowed Rear?
So I'd like to run a 295/55-15 or 325/50-15 tire on my setup when I step up to a 370 and a Strange S60 w/ 4.10s for my A4. I know I can narrow the S60 upto 3" for no cost.
In looking at the pics for 15x10 4.5" BS it looks like everything sticks out w/3" narrowed rears. I don't want that.
For the 15x10 5.5" it looks like it tucks well but most end up running a 1/2" spacer.
My question is why not run a 5" BS (which seems hard to find) or a 2.5" narrowed rear? Wouldn't that pretty much provide the optimum flush and enough inner clearance with BFH for 325s?
The suspension setup is one of two choices: Viking DA Coilover Front w/350lbs and DA Shock rear w/ stock rear springs or BMR Lowering Springs all around w/Koni SA shocks.
I figure the BMR/Koni setup will give me a little less clearance but will look better and allow me to handle when I don't have 15s on the car (though I'd like to run the DRs on the street most of the time).
I guess I'd need to check to see if I can narrow an S60 2.5" or if there is a reason everyone chooses 3"?

The 2.5 narrow would be the way to go if you are wanting to use the 15" wheel. Otherwise if a 17" Street Lite wheel is in your range then the backspacing is all custom... anything you want. The 5" backspacing on a 15" wheel will get you into the more costly Weld Alumastar, or the BS Comp5 wheels.
The Viking shocks will be ride height adjustable and I can even get you into a rear coil-over setup for probably less cost than the BMR/Koni setup will cost, and be externally adjustable valving.
Give me a call... I guarantee the lowest cost on both the S60 rearend and the Viking shocks.

That's the way I did mine. 2.5" off each side and a 5.5 BS. With 295/55/15's.
I was getting a small rub if I turned a corner hard so I put in a 1/4" spacer and I think that's about perfect.
I run the BS streetlite wheels. This is the only pic of it have have right now. ( I know bad pic)
