100 dollar wheels and tires
Just picked up a set of 4 c5 front 5 spokes...100 bucks for the wheels and tires. They aren't in perfect shape but I can't complain for the price. Let me know what you think. Yes, I know my car is dirty. Hard to keep it clean when I drive down a half mile gravel driveway everyday.
I wasn't sure if I would like chrome on my car but I think it looks pretty good. Though I am still thinking I may want to paint the wheels. Give me some ideas maybe photoshop if you want so I can see other wheels colors on my car. Thanks in advance.

The wheels are chrome... it may be the light making them look smoked or polished. Yes the car is v6 for now. I have a 5.3 I'm building for it right now. It will stay naturally aspirated for awhile till that feels week and may get a turbo on it eventually. I don't think I can slam it due to the shitty roads where I live... I already bottom out everywhere I go. The chrome looks pretty good on the face of the wheels but behind the face on the inside of the rim is peeling. Just means I will do something to them at some point. Thanks for the input lets see what others think.

Looks like the first thing you should do is buy new tires for those wheels.
These wheels have been done a thousand times plus a few more...so I'd do something with the color of the wheel to set off the purple color of the car.

Yes I agree... all black goes good on some colors but with my dark car and the black top on it I don't want the rims to just disapper in the darkness of the car. So I would keep the chrome/polished lip on the wheels if I go black spokes. I am still debating on what to do to stand out from all the other people that have these wheels and to stand off from the paint on my car.
