Default Need so help on purchacing drag radials for a stock 09 Z06

I have a stock 09 Z06 and with the stock run flats, I ran a 12.2 at 119mph with a 1.9 60' shifting into 4th right before the quarter mile mark.
I have an extra set of 18 inch spider wheels I want to buy drag radials for, but I'm not sure what size/brand to go with.
Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Some where along the lines of a 275/40/18(stock zo6 height 26.66") or a 285/40/18 which is 26.98" tall. Either one of these sizes will work perfect on a 18 x 9.5" wheel.

Someone suggested Hoosiers in this size:

P315/30R18 E 11.0" 26.0"

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't a shorter tire help out my gearing? Or would it screw up my stability control?

You need to have 11-12" wide wheels to run the 315/30/18 tires.
