Default Good wearing 275/40/17 for DD summer use?

I'm looking for suggestions. I'm willing to give up cutting edge traction for an affordable tire that yields long treadlife.

I live where snow and ice are pretty rare and I will most likely choose to not drive the car if it's gonna rain. Mostly need a good dry traction tire that won't go bald after 20K (like my garbage GY Eagle F1's did) and are on the cheaper side.

I'm liking the Nitto Motivo...$700 OTD at my local Discount Tire, 60k warranty...anybody have any experience with these?

I've got the NT555 on my car, I like them a lot for street duty. They will last a LONG time, mine still have plenty of tread even after daily driving, autocrossing, and some burnouts. There's probably a better tire out there, but I have had a good experience so far and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a nice street tire. Hell I've even driven them in snow and ice before and I survived, and that was with 315s on the rear! I want to step up to the NT05 since the car is no longer my DD but these dang 555s just won't wear out!
