You referring to fronts or rears? I run the 15's on the rears and only had to grind the fins on the passenger side caliper. Drivers side was fine.

also wondering if race stars are the lightest rims out there.

so for the back, would the 15 x 10 with 4.75" bolt pattern and 5.5" back spacing be the right ones?

No, that would not be right. 7.5 is what is best, but they don't make 7.5 BS in the Dark Stars. Closest they have is 7.25 and they work just fine. I talked to two vendors that sell the Dark Stars and if someone has them listed on their website as a 7.5 BS, they are not correct because Race Star does not make the Dark Stars in a 7.5 BS.

Also, they are very light. Much lighter than the Fikse and CCW's they replaced. Race Star will only warranty the 17x9.5's and the 15x10's for street driving. Looking back, I wish I'd have gone with the 17x7's for the front instead of the 17x9.5's.

I have 15x4 and 15x10 dark stars and only had to grind the fins off the rears, front fit fine

That will work for you, assuming you have a stock length rear. What size fronts are you going to run?

I have a set of 15" race stars with 26x7.50's on them right now, but they're too tall. i'm thinking about getting some 24x5's.
