Default DOT bias ply

Looking for a 28/11.5x17 DOT approved bias ply tire. Anybody know of a good set. Mainly for track use but want to be able to drive on the street with them also.

not too many options for that size in a 17" tire. I know MT has a 26x11.50x17 dot bias tire. the et street radial 295/45-17 but that's still not the size you are looking for. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/mt...0964/overview/

Yea I'm putting a 3.9 gear in my vette and calculated it, with a 28" tire I'd be at about 6800 doing 145. The 26" tire would be ideal for an N/A set up but want some extra mph for spray. And I want more sidewall for the launch.
