About to buy some wheels...Double checking fitment The tires that came with my car are finally worn out so it is the perfect excuse to upgrade. I should have some money rolling in next week so I'm double checking all of my research and getting myself paranoid that I missed something and what I want won't work somehow. Here's what I want to do:
My car: 2001 Camaro SS (nearly stock)
Wheels: OE Wheels C6 Z06 deep dish chrome and staggered
Front: 18x8.5
Rear: 18x10.5
Tires: Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport
Front: 245/40R18
Rear: 295/35R18
I don't want to roll my fenders or use the BFH mod. I just want them to fit. This is my daily driver so I'm looking to keep things pretty simple. Is a spacer required? Is this a good set of tires (dry and rain only) long term? Any issues with the chrome finish on the wheels? Any other pros/cons regarding this wheel and tire combo?
These are only for the summer months. I am running standard Z28 snowflakes with Blizzaks at the moment.
