Default Switched my ugly wheels...TAKE 2. This time on a camaro

I just finished reading a thread below mine about switching out ugly wheels. I did the same thing yesterday. I stole this car for $5k a few months ago. I almost turned away because of the wheels. I found a craigslist ad for these C4 corvette ZR1s. I paid $300 for the wheels and tires. They are painted silver with few chips in the paint. I am going to either refinish or plasti-dip. Tell me what you think...

Nice improvement, you can't go wrong with a classic 5 spoke wheel!
If you're 100% sure what color/s you want them, then have them Powder Coated when you budget permits for a long lasting finish.

Thanks!

I have considered that...except I love how lightweight these are. I may just sand them down and refinish them.

Big difference. And a much better look. The real question here is why would someone put wheels like that on the car!

You paid $5k for that? How many miles?

Those wheels look much better. I think plasti dip in black would look good.

Thanks everybody.

Yeah I paid $5k for it, with 90k miles on it. It isn't in the best of shape. I bought it from a lady who had it for 12 years. She bought a 2013 SS and decided to sell it...

They look great. Keep the polished lip and go a darker shade of grey on the spokes. Powder coat not needed, if you're trying to keep it cheap just sand em and spray em yourself.
