The ET Streets will out hook the nt05r by a large margin.

ET Street or ET Street Radial?

On the street, the ET Street Radial will hook better at the same PSI. But if you drop the NT05R down low... like 14-16PSI it will hook about as well as the MT.

The upside to the Nittos are they are much better in turns due to their sidewall construction, which is why they need less air pressure.

And the Nittos don't last either. They are super soft. 5k miles would be pushing it with either tire.

I have been looking at these as well and the ET streets are a lot more expensive that the Nittos. I think I'll prob go with the nittos myself.

if you're putting down a lot of power just go for the E.T streets theyre proven tires as it is with no doubts whats so ever. People still are debating the Nittos on the other hand but let me tell you, I have personally ran the NTO5R and was extremely satisfied. Dead hooked 543whp/554wtq on the street.

If you're pushing a lot of power, I'd move to M&H. MT ET Street Radial and NT05R are pretty much the same in my book. Moving up to the M&H takes you to a different class of tire.
