Default 16 inch wheel options

Looking for pic of 16 inch wheels on f bodies. I have seen lots if options for 17+inches. But would like to see what we have available for 16in. I have brand new tires and don't want to waste them Or have my speedo reprogrammed. So here is your chance to ***** your car out lol

I don't see the point in buying a new set of 16 inch wheels for the sake of one set of tires. Unless you never want anything other than 16 inch wheels.

Plus you don't need to have your speedometer reprogrammed if you get a wheel and tire combo the same size as stock.

If your speedo says 65mph with the stock 16 inch sized tires (235/55/16) and you put on something like 275/40/18 you'll only be going 66mph when it says 65. Hell, the stock size on WS6 and SS models of 275/40/17 is off more than that from the 16 inch size and they didn't change the speedo in them.

I clicked this expecting to see a question about 16" drag wheels...

Here is a good place to start:

http://www.summitracing.com/search/d...n/5-x-4-3-4-in

Summit shows 339 wheels in 16" with the proper bolt pattern. Backspacing/width is based on what you want.

Looks like the TT2 would be your best bet in 16x8. Those look good on F-Bodies.

Some of us do.....I have both a set of 16" wheels/tires as well as a set of 17s. In all honesty, in normal street driving, it's hard to tell the difference between the two set ups. What you didn't mention, however, is the size of the tires you want to use. That would dictate what width rim you need. If you want other choices, look at the Centerline Wheels website.
