Default 18x10.5 on all 4 offset help...new pics added!

hi guys...i am looking to run 18x10.5 weld rts wheels on all four corners of my 94z and am looking for anyone running a similar setup and what offset they have as i have not found much info on offset/backspacing for this setup. main reason for wanting to run this is to be able to rotate tires and also for the occasional auto cross event. i plan to put 295/35s on the wheels as well. TIA!

Here's you best available options they offer according to their website for a RTS18 x 10.5 , but I'd still call them to verify:

Medium mount pad 7.7" bs / +50mm offset.
If you think you'll ever install a BBK up front then go with the High pad height.
High mount pad, 7.6"bs / +47mm offset.

I'd go with the High pad, 7.6"bs / +47mm offset, it'll give you a little added inner wheel well clearance, and you'll be ready for a BBK without worry of clearance issues.

BTW, I'd love to see how nice the RT-S wheels look on you car, so post up some photo's once you've got it done!

awesome! just what i was looking for, thanks for the info!

i do plan on doing a c5 setup on the front in the future so i wanted to go with the high pad height, forgot to mention that in the original post.

i had been wanting to do a c6 z06 setup from oewheels, but decided it has been done a lot and havent seen any lt cars with weld rts's that were the same size all around. i think it will look killer, will definitely post up pics when i get them on

update! the wheels came in yesterday, they look awesome! very happy so far.

specs: 18x10.5 weld rts with +50mm offset and nitto nt-05 295-35s tires on all four corners

i am only able to test fit them on the rear right now and they fit perfectly! they sit flush with the fender, so i will need to roll the fenders when i instll the viking coilover in the rear and i have tons of clearence all around, dont think i will even need a BFH! i am excited to get them on the car for good, aiming to have the car running and driving by september. here are some pics i snapped, dont mind the dirty car...hasnt seen daylight in 2 years, but it is close!

Got to love the look!
So...do you already have the rear-end centered with a Adj. PHB...?

Don't forget the rear-end will move from side-to-side in a arc as the suspension compresses and extends. Just something to keep in mind you ride height will dictate where in the arc you rear-end is at. Ideally you'd want the PHB level at ride height

rear-end side-to-side movement : (

I look forward to seeing more photos!

FYI, To minimize the amount you need to bend/roll the fender lips for any possible additional clearance you might want to consider grinding/cutting some (not all) of the lip off with a grinder, so the lip is shorter. One way to check the clearance is to load the rear down with weight and the see if you will even need additional fender lip clearance.

yes i do already have it centered with a PHB and LCA's, but it is with the stock springs/shocks and stock wheels. i know i will have to readjust them when i put the coilovers on. going to keep the stock wheels on it until it is driving so i dont damage the new wheels while working on it in my barn. i also need to get hub-centric spacers for these as well, so gotta figure out where to get those. i will post final fitment pictures when i get them mounted for the final time

Spacers, why...?

I don't see you needing any spacers. You'll have 1/4" more wheel clearance, and 10mm more tire clearance compared to a 315/30/18(nitto nt-05) on a 18 x 11(weld rts) with a +50mm offset.

nothing yet...still trying to get the car done. i am trying to source new rear hardlines for the brakes as mine are busted atm, so once i get those, the car will be ready for fire up and will be able to throw the wheels on for the last time. hopefully in the next week or so! stay tuned

Im sure you already discovered, the car handles so much better with a nice wide, square wheel and tire setup. Love those wheels. They look awesome. If I had the cash, I would do 18x11 all the way around, and have them powdercoated grey.
